Josie Davis

Josie Davis, a Hollywood resident from California, is an actor or writer as well as producer. Davis started her career as a child actor in TV commercials. As a small child, Davis was cast as a character in the TV show Charles In Charge. The show was rated number-one on syndication. Josie got three nominations as well as the coveted Youth In FIlm Award for her performance as Sarah Powell. As an adult and the lead in numerous television movies Davis received two Lifetime Movie Network awards. Davis was a student of actor Paul E Richards intensively for about twenty years, despite her ability to enroll in USC's highly acclaimed Writing program. at the age of twenty four, Davis auditioned for Hollywood famous actors, Shelley Winters, Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Following only one audition Davis was admitted to the famed Actors Studio as a member with work privileges. Later, she was promoted to Lifetime Member with a single request for a callback. Over one thousand actors auditioned, making Davis just two actors to be accepted in the year that she was accepted.
