Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is a model and actress well known as a TV actress and film. Brandt started her career as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her role as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress's TV credits include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians, and many other. From 2016 Brandt has played the role of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised within Cape Town South Africa. After her late teens, she emigrated along with her parents into Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model after she was featured in commercials on television and magazine advertisements. In the years before she was a model with a protracted career, Brandt was a saleswoman in the retail industry as well as an IT recruitment consultant. On the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity that she starred in, playing Leilani F'auigaese in 2009, her first big role secured. Her debut appearance came as a character in Spartacus Blood and Sand in 2021. She played Naevia who was a slave in that show. In addition, she been playing the role of Naevia since the prequel Miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In 2016, Mazikeen was cast as the bounty hunter in the popular Netflix series Lucifer. The character she played on Lucifer is the biggest one that she has played to date. In this show, she is co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
